Compliance with Australian Law

All goods and services purchased through this website are done so in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.  To the best of our knowledge, all goods and services sold meet with Australian Product Safety requirements.  A tax invoice will be provided via email once payment has been received.  As SHOCK TEAM buys goods inclusive of GST it is therefore not charged on customer purchases.

Credit Card Fees

All goods and services purchased with a Credit or Debit card will incur an additional charge equal to the fee charged to us by our card merchant.  Customers have the option of purchasing in either Australian Dollars or Euros.  The currency conversion for Euros will be based on the daily rate of the European Central Bank plus and additional fee to cover the increase in card transaction fees for international cards by our merchant.  Customers have the option of avoiding all fees by paying by direct bank transfer at checkout.

Coaching and Training

The training offered is individual coaching and squad coaching, which is delivered by a variety of means as outlined on this website.  Participants in any training or training camps both home and away are solely responsible to ensure that they are capable of undertaking the training both medically and physically.  All efforts will be taken to ensure the training is matched to the individual requirements but the participant is solely responsible in ensuring that the services provided meet their individual needs.

Squad Coaching

To join a squad you do not need to be a member of any club or meet any requirements in terms of age, fitness, sport background, ability or expertise. Squad training must be pre-purchased online before attending sessions and Shock Team staff have the right to deny services to participants who have not pre-purchased a service.  Squad sessions are supervised by accredited coaches however should a coach be unavailable training will continue as a group session which will not be supervised.  Sessions follow the training schedule as advertised on this website.

We aim to provide a variety of training options suitable for most participants however we cannot guarantee that every training option will be suitable for every participant. 

Venue entry fees, external memberships (eg; pool, club etc) are not included in our programs and must be purchased separately by the participant.

Warranties and Guarantees

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. If any defect in materials or workmanship in product sold by Shock Team is identified and notified to us within the warranty period then we will, at our discretion repair or replace the product. Shock Team does not accept any liability beyond this for consequential loss.

Warranty is subject to us being satisfied that a defect was not caused by, or was not substantially contributed to by, other factors beyond our control, including (but not limited to): defective installation, maintenance, or repair; alterations or modifications of the product in a manner not recommended by the manufacturer; or any neglect, misuse or excessive use. To claim under warranty return product to a Shock Team within the warranty period and with evidence of the starting date of the warranty period.

Cancellations and Refunds

Participants may cancel training at any time.  Refunds for good or services caused by ‘change of mind’ will be solely at the discretion of Shock Team. Refunds not covered by the Warranties and Guarantees policy above but outside the control of the participant will be addressed by refund or substitution of training at a later date.  Where third parties are providing services such as accommodation venues and gymnasiums, cancellation policies are the responsibility of the third party service provider.
