Squad Coaching in Australia

Albury-Wodonga

The squad in Australia operates from the middle of September to the middle May in the twin cities of Albury-Wodonga, in North-East Victoria.

Located close to the Victorian Alps and surrounded by waterways (Lake Hume and Murray River), rural land and open water, the region provides an outstanding backdrop for triathlon, cycling, running, kayaking and open water swimming.

Local sports facilities are excellent and varied making it ideal for athletes from recreational to performance.

How to join the squad

Training as part of squad provides a great opportunity to train with our team or individually under our coach/s to achieve at your best level.

You do not need to be a member of any club  and we welcome everybody regardless of age, level of fitness, ability or disability.  We train triathletes, runners, cyclists and swimmers from many different backgrounds.

Training sessions could be in the format of Squad Training, when supervised by accredited coach/s or Group Training, when conducted by the athletes. Weekly we offer a variety of training options to ensure all participants have options to choose from.

NOTE: – Squad sessions can change weekly so stay in contact with our Facebook “Session Groups” via Messenger for the latest information.
– Where sessions are marked as Group Sessions, these sessions are conducted by the athletes and are unsupervised.
– Squad session fees apply only for undertaking squad training sessions and do not include, venues entry fees (swimming pool, running track, gymnasiums etc), other coaches/clubs sessions and other non Shock Team squad training sessions.
